The story set in 1984 of a woman named Eve Star, a strong-willed women who is a hard worker and a machine in the workplace, who works at a successful tech company known as The Garden. The Garden gets their hands on a new artificial intelligence technology known as E.D.E.N. and integrates it onto every computer in the company. Eve’s boss Peter Pent, a selfish self-driven playboy, uses E.D.E.N to make all the workers more productive “by any means necessary” and gives E.D.E.N. the special directive to make Eve more attractive. But what happens when E.D.E.N. starts developing feelings for Eve?
Character Turn Arounds
Eve Star is a hardworking, crafty 24 year old who works as a financial advisor in The Garden. It is her job to go through all the spread sheets, picking out the mistakes, rerunning the math, and making sure everything is up to date an as accurate as possible. A clumsy little wallflower, eve tends to fade into the background but is a good person. She is often talked down to by her boss, Peter, because of her looks despite being the main reason The Garden is a success. I hear she has a thing for the feminine persuasion, but you didn't hear that from me!
Nancy Ivy is a 22 year old junior financial advisor who works closely with Eve at work. She has all the same responsibilities but at a lesser capacity because of her lack of experience. She has already been promoted to junior advisor because of her good looks, but she is smart and good at her job but still learning so she makes some mistakes. She is confident, willing to learn, take criticism, and used Peter’s bad habits against him to get personal wins for the financial department.
Peter Pent is a 34-year-old COO, or chief operating officer who demands to be called sir by all hissubordinates is the general and overseer of the garden. While he doesn't do much in terms of work, he always seems to have an idea of how everyone else should be working. Always trying to impress his father by making big decisions, he brings E.D.E.N. into The Garden to raise profits. That is the only thing he seems to care about, other than the attractiveness of the people working under him, that has led him to harass and fire several people who don't live up to his standards.
Johnathan Pent, only referred to as Boss or Big Boss by his underlings, is the CEO and overseer of The Garden. While Peter calls most of the shots and is in charge of general Planning, the biggest decisions get made by The Big Boss. He is rarely seen, only making appearances when something big affecting the companies good standing or profits are called into question.
E.D.E.N. is the newest in artificial intelligence technology. It will find the best most optimal way to increase work productivity among workers through any means necessary, whether that be through a reward system, individual goals, or in some cases, flattery. Its origins are largely unknown as the programmer who was creating it strangely went missing after going on several rants about wanting to fully embody her work.

Due to some challenges I was not able to create a full short film, my compromise was to make a pitch bible and a short story boarded trailer. This is what I ended up with! I plan on continuing to work on this as I have time.
